Woof Point Walkers Policies

Service Booking

• Daily walks: two-hour notice. The earlier booked the better!

• Weekends and overnights: one-two weeks notice.

• Holidays: two-three weeks notice. All Holiday bookings have an additional $5.00 charge added on per walk/overnight.

• We do accept last-minute walks! We try our best to accommodate you and your pet however, there is no guarantee that a walker will be able to fit them in at the time requested. 

 

Payments/Surcharges

• Invoices are sent out every Sunday and must be paid within 72 hours of them being sent or there will be a $5.00 late fee added.

• Overnights hosted in a Woof Point Walkers apartment will have an additional $5 cleaning fee added to the invoice. This includes a deep cleaning of the apartment and the cleaning supplies needed.​

• Holiday bookings will have an additional $5.00 charge added on per walk/overnight. 

 

New Clients

• All first-time clients must go through a free meet and greet process before being approved for service booking

• Pet owners must fill out the new client registration form and sign and release the dog walking service agreement

• All Animals must be up to date on their vaccinations and flea-tick preventative medication

• ​All dogs must be neutered/spayed to participate in puppy playtime.

Social Media

• Our social media manager reviews every picture. We don’t post pictures that can be used to identify the interior of our client’s home or personal lifestyle. 

• We do ask when posting photos taken by Woof Point Walkers on social media please tag us! Thank you!

Company's Basic Terms and Conditions (The dog walking service agreement will go further into in-depth in detail).

• The Pet Owner will provide all required leashes, harnesses, muzzles, jackets, and collars.​

• The Pet Owner will provide any special instructions or medication for their pet.

• ThePet Owner will be considered liable for any damages or injuries caused by the dogs while under the care of the Dog Walker.

• The Pet Owner will pay Woof Point Walkers services at the applicable service indicated on the current fee schedule. (rates subject to change)​

• The Dog Walker will perform the duties listed by the Pet Owner to the best of {his/her} abilities, in a caring manner.

•  The Dog Walker will keep secure and confidential any keys, passcodes, access numbers, and personal information, and return them at the end of the contracted service date.

• The Dog Walker will supply and be equipped with disposable waste bags.

• The Dog Walker will not be liable for any injuries to the dogs that are caused by animals or people outside of the Dog Walker’s control. ​​
